Hiroki Ashida, Ph.D. is the Founder and CEO of Silvertrail Partners, a company-building platform that creates cross-border biotech companies by leveraging science and assets from Japan and Asia/APAC.

 

Previously, he was a biotech investor at Eight Roads Ventures, a global VC firm backed by Fidelity, where he helped establish their biotech investment practice in Japan and covered all biotech and therapeutic deals. He worked closely with F-Prime Capital Partners and Eight Roads' global teams to invest both domestically and globally, leveraging the science and technologies of Japan.

 

Hiroki aims to become a bridge between the global and Japanese markets. Prior to that, he was a management consultant at Accenture Strategy and holds a Ph.D in computational biology from the University of Tokyo where he conducted research on epigenetics and ncRNAs.
